Hello, Good news from the midwest!! KU beat UNC to now advance to the championship game. There is a little rivalry around the house, after all, the husband went to VT. Needless to say, the love for KU is not felt by both members of the household. We still had a great time last night. We have a new entertainment district in the midwest and headed there to watch the game in a outdoor venue. I have high hopes for Monday night, go KU!!

The following are pictures of the new entertainment district. It is much more expansive than this but here is a little peak!! (Note we got there at 2 pm to reserve seats for the game at 7:45 pm and it was already so busy)!!




We brought our friend Joe a cookie cake for a belated B-day however we didnt' get the memo that he was out of town so we just ate it!! Yum
